More events and conferences are now canceled this summer.

I hope you are staying safe and healthy. We have been told by the Milwaukee Irish Fest that this year's festival has been canceled. The decision was made as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The festival was scheduled for August 13-16 at the Henry Maier Festival Ground. This is the first time in the history of the Festival that it was forced to cancel. For more information on the event and your options if you have purchased your tickets in advance, you can get on their website https://irishfest.com.

In addition, the organizers of the 2020 Celtic Connections Conference which was scheduled for Jul 30 and August 1 in Wheeling, Illinois has announced that this popular event has also been canceled. Those who have already pre-registered will be fully refunded. The conference that is co-sponsored by Irish Genealogical Society International (IGSI) and The Irish Ancestral Research Association (TIARA). The future of the canceled event will be announced later.
