Dave Miller, MA, PLCGS, The Ancestor Guy, provides a research service to help you find your family heritage. Dave has more than 40 years of experience researching family history with a Certificate in Genealogical Studies in Irish Records from the National Institute for Genealogical Studies. He specializes in the U.S. Midwestern States and knowledgeable in American and Irish records.

Dave is a nationally and internationally recognized author, speaker and genealogist. He has published articles in Crossroads Magazine, The Septs Journal and the Irish Genealogical Quarterly. Dave has spoken at local, national and international events, and emceed Irish genealogy conferences. He has also conducted research for episodes of the "Dead Files" on the Travel Channel.

 

Dave is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, Wisconsin State Historical Society, The Bay Area Genealogical Society and The Irish Genealogical Society International and currently serves on its board. Dave also records a monthly podcast for the IGSI called "This Month at the IGSI" where he not only talks about events at the society but also stories on Irish Genealogy and Culture!
